Fellows .. one reel for either popping and Jigging .. I'm confused between Shimano Saragosa 18000 Vs Daiwa Saltist 6500

do you mean that 4.9 gear ratio is not slow for popping?

Its not bad but its better than have the higher speed to jig with. Keep in mind you have to fight the fish as well and lower gear would be better to fight fish since you will get more torque. The Saltist hasn't really proven just yet but the Saragosa have been proven already, many times in Cape Cod landing Tuna in the excess of over 150lbs.

I think I'll go for the Saragosa 18000 .. the OTI G3 600g spinning for Jigging and either the Tuna Sniper 8'6" (60-80) or the OceanExtreme 7.6 (60-80) for popping .. what do you think .. ?? one rod and 2 reels .. and I'll put 80lbs green braid

uh...is that really a 600g spinning rod for popping? Seems a little heavy.
