I just bought one but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

 

My buddy used to jig with one all the time. He has since moved on to better rods but they are a good entry level rod.

 

They are decent, I will say they use quality rod components when they build them.

I do like them. Nothing fancy. The Cedros is E-glass...pretty indestructible...(I'm a charter guy and people beat them up). Good guys and reel seat...Their XH version will do a 200 pound tuna... Enough backbone, and not too heavy for pollock. Only about $120, too. If not for tuna, just go H for most fishing....

Opinion on Okuma andros jigging spinning rod?

 

I've not used the Andros but the Cedros xh was my go to conventional when I first started jigging - quality build, real seat was nice a bit longer than I like to jig with and heavier than I like but landed many snapper, aj, yft and blkft and it never thought twice about it

I don't think you'd be disappointed but in the same breath I don't think it will blow you away either
