I need a spinning rod for offshore fishing, mainly for Kingfish, Cobia, Gt & Tuna, nothing more than 100 lbs. I'm looking for a light weight Long casting rod. I've done some research & these are the ones I like: 1- St. Croix Premier Saltwater Fishing Rod SWS76MHF 2- St. Croix Avid Inshore Spinning Rods AIS76HF 3- Lamiglas Kayak Series Rods LK7230S 4- Accurate SR Spinning Series Rods ACCSR702540MHS 5- Seeker Black Steel Series Rods G 670-7' S Any recommendations or opinions?
i have that seeker black steel rod. it is strong with a very soft tip. makes an awsome cobia, kingfish rod. will handle 100 lb tuna but would rather have a longer and better casting rod for that purpose. excellent general purpose rod though.
I think this rod (St. Croix Premier Saltwater Fishing Rod SWS76MHF) is a real performer for its price. I cant find it online though!! Backordered almost everywhere!!
