    April 24th-- Our duo from France, Chebille and Perennes flew a long ways to catch Black Marlin ,they not only caught several but Paul caught one on spinning with a Stella 10000 , unfortunately we had a casualty on this fight , but it went to good use .

    That's a nice fish, too bad it died from the fight. What spinning rod is that he's using with the stella 10K?

    That's a nice fish, too bad it died from the fight. What spinning rod is that he's using with the stella 10K?


    oops!!!!! I will ask him again , I can't remember ,I am not too familiar with the European made rod , he fought it all the way with out a belt or harness

    It looks like a Zenaq Fokeeto rod.

    LOL, Yeah I noticed the dangerous placement of the rod butt. One little slip might have ended the trip!

    I just never get tired of those cloud-out-of-plane-window shots. The fishing shots are great as well, but those airplane window shots just get me every time.

    you know you are living on the edge, when you put the rod butt between your legs :) one wrong move and its soprano for a week!! :) LOL!! good technique though- practicing it might be a painful eye-opening experience :)

    It is the sound of the Stella 10000 push to max drag , I guess it is more crying than screaming , LOL

    Those French guys were really cool if they were the same we met the last night. We gave them a few Ranger lures and some hammered diamond jigs. I hope they worked well :)

    I am sure you guys never had any casualties, as everybody knows in the billfish world there will be a percentage of casualty, I guess you have to catch enough to have the percentage against you , well I rest my case!!!

    this fish looks dead to me ,cause you cannot hold a Marlin like that if it is alive and well

    either the fish is half dead or Chi cho is really strong to one armed the fish
