I'm treating the family to a week's vacation on Tiki Island at Galveston. We have a private house available on the water with it's own dock and boat lift. We will be doing inshore trips during the week and have a 30 Hr trip on the Big E planned August 23&24th.

Any iseas for inshore fishing. I don't know what much about Galveston Bay.

NTF,

Will you have a boat to use that week?
If so what kind?
From Tiki you can fish from a John Boat or from a Grady or if no boat you can wade.

let me know and I'll try to suggest some late summer patterns and areas to check.

You wouldn't want to be vacationing in San Antonio today. Tropical storm
"ERIN" is shutting down the city. I've received over 6 1/4" of rain since 11:30 today at work. Some areas are reporting 8" already and it's still raining. IH35 downtown has a low section. Over 25 cars and tractor trailers are under water right now. I hope I can get home. I don't think Corpus even got a drop. The eye has been stalled over SA for over three hours.

This just came by email on my computer. Looks like were in for a long afternoon.
