Not to hijack this thread but Richard I just got an email from Willie saying you had sold your spot to Nate thinking the trip was Sept. 14-16 instead of Sept. 7-9. My question is .... does this mean you coulda still gone on September 7-9?

No, I am scheduled for a trip to Puerto Vallarta from Sept. 7-11. I wish we could communicate from boat to boat to see how the fishing is going. Good luck! I hope I can sink into one of those PV cows!!

I might join a group to PV. They are leaving 8/30, return 9/3. I'm trying my best to juggle things around to make it work. I'm not sure it will be good for my health as it's the same group that went to Mexico this weekend along with others. I finally feel 100% for the first time since Sunday.

Good luck on your 30 trip on the Big E. It will be rough Thursday. I talked to a guy that went to the rocks today. He said it got rougher and rougher as the day progressed. They started out in 6's in the morning and by 3pm they were in 10's. Not a lot of fun for a few snaps and one AJ. It's funny how a hurricane a few hundred miles away can cause such a sudden change.

we can communicate if we are within a few miles of each other if you or some one else on this trip has another handheld vhf radio. i have one but will not bring it unless we have a pair....rick...by the way old farts rule....lol

I think they are referring to their upcoming trip to PV> the older guys will be on one boat and the younger on another.. thus... the old farts vs the young uns..
