Where can I get hooks like these?

What are a good size to get to match 3/0 treble hook in front?
I want to put them on my 186 shibuki and some 150mm-180mm lures.

8/0 seems big? Is it going to be a good size?

    Thanks Anthony.
If anyone else input on which size will match good them please chime in. There is no where near me where I can check out the hook sizes as I'm not good at gauging them.

I like these hooks and have got them from APS and PLAT JP.
What first caught my attention is the eye placement where when attaching
to a lure only 1 split ring is needed to align hook to lure.

I use them when I want strong wide gap hook but don't want
a lot of Hook\Hooks hanging off of a lure.
I also like rigging as assist for jigs, With the in line eye they lay
against the jig and with wide gape hook up ratio is good.

If you have a lure that would use a 3 to 4\0 st66 like shibuki then the
6 or 7\0 is about right, For Gunz Tailwalk 6\0 is about right.

    4\0, 5\0, 6\0, 7\0 shown below next to 186 Shibuki

For jigs 4,5,6,7\0 are all good depending on jig. I have not used one for chunking but I think they would work fine also as they are light, sharp and strong.

Both APS and Plat have been good as far as shipping them to the UAE where
I have been spending alot of my time recently. Shipping cost may not be effective if one only wants a few packs of hooks. But if you are buying large
then shipping winds up bening a small consideration of total cost.
Both suppliers take Pay Pal which I prefer over sending C.C. info on the INET.

If you read the eBay add, you have your choice of 1/0 through 8/0 for the same price. Different number of hooks in the packs

Price to ship 3 packs was 7-8 bucks. Beats ebay price and the guy on ebay was sold out of 7/0.

Mustad HOODLUM 4X Ringed Hooks #11/0
    http://www.ssb3.net/users/10312/ringedhook.jpg

Only 50 cent per hook...what do you guy think? is it a good alternative....

I wouldn't suggest them as I bent hoodlum hooks on 80-100lb class tuna using 20+lb drag. They use to be a great hook, but they changed them several years ago.

I was wondering if anybody had issues with them. I just tied up some 11/0s and had to question them when I could get some bend just pulling on them by hand. Seems they dont get any thicker as they get bigger.

I use mustad hoodlums for snapper fishing, I don't trust them for big tuna. Get yourself some Shout Kudako 7/0, Fishermen Sidens 11/0 thry 13/0, or Owner SJ-41 11/0 for going after big game like tuna.

    Angler's Pro Shop

The Fishermen Sidens and Shout Kudako's are in stock at the moment, get them while they last!
