Attaching squid leg on jig might work good bottom fishing, but for tuna fishing it might hinder the action of the jig. JMO
Some one like Ksong or Mcgolfer might give you a better answer than I.
I agree with you. I don't have much success with bucktail or teaser attached too though I heard someone got tuna on bucktail jigs.
