I think it is more airbrushing than makeup on the first couple.

This must be the Political Forum. I'm not one to speak my peace on the subject but after years of matching Social Security to my employee's I've got something to get off my chest. These are facts and I'm not promoting any party. To each his own, that's why we vote. This is just one on my pet peas about the Government.
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be
completely voluntary,
2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put
into the Program would be deductible from
their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the
independent "Trust Fund" rather than into the
General operating fund, and therefore, would
only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees
would never be taxed as income.

Since many of us have paid into FICA for years -- Did you know that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to "put away" -- you may be interested in the following:

Then, after doing all this lying and thieving and violating of the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
And the worst part about it is uninformed
citizens believe it! That's my two cents of politics for the day. The day they start taxing inventory of fishing tackle, which is about the only thing I'm not taxed on, I'm leaving the country. What Tee's me off the most is the way all the money I send them is spent. Maybe I should run for President!!!!!!!!!!

"Hi... You know, I just HATE drawing welfare checks. I'd really rather have a job."
The social worker behind the counter says, "Your timing is excellent.
We just got a job opening from a very wealthy old man who wants a chauffeur
and bodyguard for his beautiful nymphomaniac daughter.
You'll have to drive around in his Mercedes, but he'll supply all of your clothes.
Because of the long hours, meals will be provided.
You'll be expected to escort her on her overseas holiday trips.
You will have to satisfy her sexual urges.
You'll be provided a two-bedroom apartment above the garage.
The starting salary is $90,000 a year."

i am sick of all most of them. *****ing because the plane might have to stop and refuel. why don't they all fly coach commercial like the majority of those Americans that fly.

There was an interesting story last night how the US loaded 380 tons of 100 dollar bills (12 Billion Dollars) on forklifts at the federal reserve bank in NY to c130 cargo planes headed for bagdad. The money just got lost. They had some jackass in front a senate panel (more jackasses) that was aking he questions. he answered questions with " i dont know what happened" to it. Then the senator actually said that 12 billion dollars insn't alot of money. The politicians are all crooked, and can be bought.

I fially find a FISHING SITE and all I can read about is "politics this", and "anna nicole" that! can we please digress back to fishing?
