Well Capt PorkChop took pics, it was 37.5" but for some reason the record says 37.4"

Its weight was 4.5lbs.

The old record was 37.5" and 2.69lbs.

nope, still pretty cool ,man.

I will say that one is about 2/3 the size of the one we had to
extricate from Joe Livingston's arm back in '09, that thing was massive.
there's a pic around somewhere, but that thing was close to 4 feet long.
IIRC, that one came on a maguroni, too!!

kind of, Joe & a deckie (Daryl, I think) were tring to un-hook it when it started slashing & it caught Joe on the forearm & wouln't let go. the wounds were supeficial at best, but he bled more than the fish, i think, hehe!
