What a great day, Finially back in the water were we belong.. Today I was joined by Gary, Max and Eddie from the Fisherman's Post for our first trip back since the Lower unite issue that had us sidelined for almost 3 week...Left WB at 5:15 am light winds and nearly flat conditions made for a nice run to our first spot 38nm offshore..Bottom fishing was the plan of the day ,got set up on the piece and the first fish in the boat was a Scamp next came a small ARS and a few pinkies and grunts. Continued working the the area picking away at a few Red and Scamp Grouper as well as the rest of the bottom fair.. Tide slacked up so we made alittle run further off to a spot that produced well 3 weeks ago, well it was still producing.. Gags, Reds and Scamps all played host as we worked the area until lunch time..Made a few more stops inshore that all produced well for us, what a great way to knock the dust of the boat after sitting in the boat yard being worked on..Be thanks to Gary, Max and Eddie for making it a great day on the big pond!!!

It was a wide open bite today..After being layed up for two weeks with a blown lower unite it was nice to get back at it the right way...Ken
