SW 20000 PG spare spool. This spool will fit ALL FA 10000, FA 20000, SW 10000 and SW 20000 reels. Is this BS or what? Can you realy fit an older model 20000 spool on a new 10000 SW?????? I came across this on ebay and just wanted to check.
If the seller is in Japan, it's probably a JDM spool. I think they called the FA's SW's in Japan. They had PG SW's in Japan. If that's the case it would fit FA's and older JDM SW's. But you're right, the older spools won't interchange with the newer. Fred
As far as the new SW's spools go, the SW8K and the SW10K body or frame is the same. The only difference is the size of the spool. I have both and the spools will interchange. The SW20K body will not accept the SW10K spool. Once again, I've tried it. As stated above, the FA's and the SW's spools are different animals.
Thanks, thats what I thought but just had to check. It would be awesome to get that much line capacity on the new smaller/lighter 10000SW but oh well.
