550 is about right.
I asked to many questions in this thread, thank you all, specially Basil for your help
375 yards 60lb Seaguar Threadlock on a Stella 14K. Pretty good for 16-strand braid; 25 yards more than 60lb 12-strand JB.
Thanks for this. Now I know exactally which size to get.
JM 16000 -300 yards of 100 jbh multicolor
Expedition 5500-360 yards of 60 jbh multicolor
Any idea on the capacity of Stella 6000 for Max Cuatro 50 and Slick 8 40lbs? I got 375 yards of slick 8 30lbs on mine but thinking of other options. Anyone also used Max Cuatro 65lbs and 80lbs on Stella 10000 and 14000? I have spooled mine with Hollow Ace 40 at 450 yards for the 10k and 375 yards of JBH60 on 14k.My 12k spool has 340 yards of Hollow Ace 60lbs. I'm just looking for options for better capacity but not willing to spend so much on Ocea X8. Thanks
Do you know the break strength for 60 lb seaguar thread lock hollow? I have a cabo 80, do you know how much 60 hollow I could get on that spool, and what brand would you recommend for that spool? Thanks
I haven't seen any published data on 60lb Threadlock. On the Cabo 80, you'll get 300 yards 60lb hollow. I also did one recently with 450 yards 50lb hollow. I like the Threadlock option in blue, no did to come off and just as easy to splice as white.
its about 250 yards of 40lb braid on the 6000 with minimal mono backing but just enough
Basil...any info on how much a Stella 14000XG will take of 80lb JB non-hollow?
About 350 yards...
thank you sir...take care and tight lines.
Got 325 yards of pp 80 hollow-ace on my JM 16000 spool. May have slightly over filled it
Got 300 yards of maxcuatro 50 on my 6000 Stella
I got 300 yards of 40lb Maxcuatro on a Stella 6000
I got 500 yards of 65lb maxcuatro on the Stella 10000 and same 500 yards of 65lb on the 14000. Awesome capacity, my local tackle shop put it very tight.
We need a Saltiga thread.
Better off using the 50#seaguar hollow. The 60# breaks at 82.6 lbs with a diameter of .460mm and the 50# breaks at 90.2 lbs with a diameter of .421mm. The 50# is a really great line that splices well.
