    Basil,

Great stuff!! Thanks! I am about to mail you my 20000 spool. I plan on fishing 20 to a max of 25 pounds of drag.

What is the breaking strength of the 60? I heard it was closer to 80 plus pounds. If so, then I would go with 60 and get more line. But if it was truly 60, then I would go with the 100. There doesn't seem to be an advantage for 80 in terms of capacity over the 100.

    What would you recommend?

    astro..

Tufline is a PE5 line so you should get less than 325 yards as Basil listed PE 4.

Could you list them as Fa's or SW's, atleast in the 8k,10k,20k sizes.

What is the breaking strength of the 60?

Pametfisher has tested 60lb JB hollow, white and blue, above 95lb.

    Basil,

Do you have any capacity numbers for Saltigas? Specifically, 60# on a 5000.

    Thanks in advance

I haven't seen that spool. Based on mono capacity, 300 yards tops.

in order to keep this very helpful thread going, i thought i would post my findings for a stella 16000 no limits spool. It took about 285yards of 80OTI depthfinder. I was not happy with that and ended up respooling with 60 OTI which took about 350yards. I am not sure of the ABS of the 60 and was wondering if anybody has tested it???

500 yards of 60jb hollow fit perfectly on an 18000 Stella.

500yds of 60# indicator hollow fit pretty good on a 20000 stella, with a little room (50yds more max) to spare for when casting.

Got 300 yd JB100 hollow on a SOM no limits 16000 spool.. but ripped of 15 yd's since it was a bit overfilled.

    So 285 yd's JB 100 on a SOM No limits 16000 spool.
