If you decided to crack open the piggy bank and
splurge on one reel, Which spinner would you buy ?

    Ok guys,

Please tell me why you choose the Stella over the twinspin.

I keep wanting to burst my piggy bank for a new spinning reel. Where should I spend my kids college tuition? ;)

I own both, and they are both great reels. Just treat yourself before you die.
You will have to replace the twinspin knob because it's just plain uncomfortable. The stella is smoother and comes with two handles. The twinspin is awesome but the high gear (6:1) is a little to high for landing a larger fish. I like them both, so just make your kids take out a student loan and buy both.

Thanks Gunsmoke. I see the Stella first. Maybe they can get scholarships...

I've had my eye on a twinspin for quite some time although although Stellas have served me very well. I've found the Stella 10000 ratio a bit high for same reasons as gunsmoke outlined. That's been about the only reason I still haven't checked out the Accurate
