from reading the title, I kept thinking it was going to show an accidental spearing of the seal at first, then of the one filming. They came mighty close!
yeah me too.. I kept watching intently hoping one of those stripies.. would impale one of those sea dogs....
I also thought one of those stripes was going to spear something. It would have cool to see a stripe plunge his bill into that whale.
Seeing those stripe marlin all lit up is really exciting. The color of any marlin when it first gets hooks and starts jumping is off the charts exciting. If they hit a short flat line and make a quick jump off the transom, it will get your blood flowing real fast. It's the ultimate Viagra. No pill in the world can match a big marlin jumping for blood flow.
I caught my first stripe marlin in high school. Since then I've probably racked up over a hundred. They are fun to catch. Heavy tackle not needed as they wear out fast. Not as fast as a Pacific Sail, but they are very fast and will peel off two or three hundred yards on a spinner real quick. Sad thing is the skin color is 70% gone by the time you get them to the boat.
