Sous Vide Fish

    Who's using a Sous Vide to cook fish? I'm getting one for Christmas and I'm really interested in figuring out how to do fish with it. I've got a few striped bass fillets in the freezer waiting to take a bath.

    Is it as easy as just cooking the fish with the sous vide and then just giving it a quick sear when it is done?

    Sousvide user 3 yrs
    Never used on fish .............never seen the need its typical role of slow cooking to break down muscle tissue.
    never caught a fish that needed the tenderising treatment.( lucky enough to catch lots in lots of species "downunda" )
    Might be awesome to bag & cook fish in a marinade to maximise flavour pickup.
    Great equipment for redmeat & poultry etc.
