I'm looking for the smallest surface iron i can fish on a Seeker 196'8. Looking to toss very small surface a long ways. You get the idea. Thanx for the recommendations & advice.

Castmasters as small as you want and Sumo jigs are found in very small sizes too. For saltwater you shouldn't need to go smaller than 1oz but Castmasters and Hopkins spoons are made down to trout sizes (1/8oz).

Small lure don't have to be light. If lures are too light, you can not fast far.
4 long FCL LAbO 60 (2 oz) might be a surface small surface lure though I used as a jig to catch striped bass in Cape Cod.
When tuna eat very small bait, I plan to use the lure for them.

    Tady have three small irons.

Tady AA, A1 and A2. Length of those irons are about 4.5 inches.
AA weighs 3.6 oz and A2 weighs 4.6 oz while A1 weighs 1.8 oz as AI is made from Aluminum.

Have you considered tungsten which is 1.74 times heavier than lead?
