I saw this on a Japanese tackle site and wondered if anyone has more info:

On the spare spool, it states that it will hold 250 meters of 30# mono.

I'm working on building a spinning set up for my wife and thought this would be a good bargain at $300.

There's another model on that site, surf model, that's $200 too.

Can't answer your question but I did want to say that I have ordered a couple times from Plat and they are good folks and speedy shippers. I have also referred others to them and they have been pleased. if you email them they will answer your questions too.
