Has anyone used both of these? Can you give me a comparison of the two? I'm using it for 15 - 30 foot top shots - jigging and bottom fishing in Florida if this makes a difference. I've used Blue Label, Red Label and Pink, but not STS, and STS gives you a lot more line for what you pay for it. I'll be using 50 lb. test with either a unit knot or PR knot connection to 30 or 50 lb. braid if that matters.

I use them for blackfish so not sure for bigger fish(Priced right). I find it stretched more than Sunline FC100 and BassPro Offshore Extreme. Knot strength don’t notice any difference but than I don’t catch enough Giants to know it yet.:)

I've used it a lot here on the west coast for a variety of applications with good success. The 30lb has really proved itself for live bait fishing for bluefin, I had some fish up into the 80-100lb range last season that I was finishing off with 17ish lbs of drag at the very end. Didn't even retie, just inspected the line, didn't see any chafing, pinned another bait on and bit again. STS from 30-50lb, below that I use AbrazX for the same reason, that you get a lot more line/$.

I went with Seaguar Pink and Orvis Mirage for my 50 lb. leader and top shots but I just might pick up a spool of 50 lb. and 30lb. STS when my supply gets low. Thanks for your posts.
