Hey everyone!!! what type of rod should I use to catch a panfish or trout? Spinning or casting?

It’s totally preference! I like spinning for super light lines. Line in the 2lb to 6lb class with super light baits and weights seem to work better with spinning for me. Be conscious of your surroundings on rod length. Like low trees, etc it’s best to choose a shorter rod.
