A friend of mine sent me this Picture. The boy is 9 years old and weights in at 70 pounds. They caught this hoo at southern last Saturday. Thay didn't put the hoo on a scale, but it looks about the size of the 9 year old who caught it. Nice catch for a 9 year old.

They also caught some blackfin at Southern. Not behind shrimp boats but by trolling feathers about 200 feet behind the boat. There is also a buoy tied to the old Southern Rig that was cut off last summer. Sometimes some idiot will cut off the buoy. That always tee's me off. It's nice to have a buoy or rig nearby a rock structure like Southern so you can glance up and see how far you have drifted if bottom fishing.

One more note for anybody that is interested. There was a rumor that a new floater was going to be placed at Dutra. It was there two weeks ago but has moved. It was just sitting there waiting for other equipment to arrive.

It has now moved to the Hilldrops where it is currently drilling. That is going to be it's new home. It's 99.39NM from the Port A jetties. Only 82NM from Freeport. It's name is "Noble Buziard". I've got the coordinates if anyone is interested. That should take off some pressure off Boomvang and Nasen. They are 135NM and 142NM from the Port A jetties.
