This past Wednesday 11/04/20, we had very good fishing, for yellowfin tuna and dorado (Mexican Limits). My daughter kept insisting I try and make some poke nachos, just like the ones from The Yard House. Rainy day here in Carlsbad, so decided to try something different with the tuna... I deep fried the wonton wrappers and you can pretty much see all of the other ingredients. I coated the tuna with a ginger lime marinade (the ginger people brand). After putting it all together, I lightly drizzled some Surf Bros Teriyaki Sauce and sriracha aioli, to finish it off.
Yum. I adore the yard house poke’ bowls. They stopped offering them because of covid. Not going back until they’re on the menu again.
