That hurts. In high school, I was riding an dirtbike and spilled over into a patch of cactus. My girlfriend and two others spent over 4 hours pulling out the thorns. In the article about the dog and porcupine it says the remaining quills will come out. BS!!!!!!!!!
Two years later I still had some imbedded in my butt. I guess they finally deteriorated. I had thousands all over me. They were in my face to my toes. I now stay away from cactus patches. The nice thing about the porcupine quills is that they are long and visible. Those little cactus ones are almost invisible.
