2009 International Jigging & Popping Festival.

Im not going to give a detailed report as the pictures speak for themselves. I will also let the others chime in on their experiences. For me this was my best trip ever, I had a plan and i achieved my goals with the exception of a tuna over 200. I really was in a zone when it came to the Roosters and Cuberas but at the end of the day I can honestly say I never rested a moment while on a boat and absolutely put 200 percent into every single drop of the jig and pop of the plug. I ended up with 8 nice roosters, 4 cubera, a black cubera, a million Blue Trevallys, 2 Dorado, some Barrcuda about 6 tuna in the 80-100 pound class, at least 15 under 50 and one over the 150 range. Great Friends, Great food and drink and great fish

Enjoy the picture thread boys and girls. This picture just about sums up my trip ... pure carnage from small to big fish

I will say this Paradise Fishing Lodge is an amazing place that everyone should visit. Great service great food and great fish. My hats and Many thanks go to Chad. Top notch organization and I have fished the world but the views and service Chad offers is the best hands down, he has an amazing chef and hell eating sashimi everyday for lunch isnt that bad. 4 fast and stable center consoles allow you to get to the fishing grounds fast and he has some of the best captains around

The trip was organized by Anglers Pro Shop of Brooklyn and Ocean Revolution Rods and Lures. 12 people gathered from around the world, including the famous Captain Bob Veras of Brazil and some of the best jiggers and poppers from around the world. No bait only artificials, big plugs, little jigs and a whole lot of energy. I absolutely loved the company and was able to spend my birthday among a great group of anglers

I really enjoyed my time with Steve, he is a great guy and room mate and put up with my antics the whole time. God Bless you Steve

The first two days netted very few fish, but that was about to change. My morning was amazing as I had an excellent day popping 4 Roosterfish, 2 Cuberas, 2 Blue Trevally and Dorado and then came the call over the radio .... TUNA, TUNA, TUNA

    Then Madness ensued ....

    ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzZZZZ ZZZZZ

Follow the birds, precision cast in front of the spinner dolphins/ PULL, CHUG, PULL ... CHUG ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ Im tight

Ive got deep color, now I have color ... STICK HIM, STICK HIM!!!!!! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Slob on the deck front and center

all on spinning gear in less than 20 minutes per fish
