I only have a couple of pieces of tackle left to purchase ( for the OCT trip ) . For jigging, I got the Genesis Long Range Special. Looks good in the office, can't wait to get it wet.

Now I need a spinner. Being an advanced procrastinator, I have blown
my chance for a custom. What are my options? Would like to spend
    $350 or less.
    Thanks

If you're looking for a Reel Bargin on a Spining rod for your Speros try Bar Bar Customs on Ebay. They sell for around $115 look and feel awesome.

I bought their 20-50# Hybrid composite cusom Spinning rod because in the ad they said they used them with 50# line loaded on a Penn 9500SS for Blue Fin Tuna.

I loaded it down with 25# of drag... everything worked as advertized.

Ragman-- I saw that one, 100 gm lure weight max, max load of 6.5kg
seems a little light for our purposes. I saw some very nice rods on
his web site that are around 7 bills that would do the job nicely.

Bazztx-- I bought the BARBAR 30/50 for $125. It should ship Monday.

How much do you know about Pac Bay blanks ?

thanks for the info , everyone

The graphite composite ones are nice for the cost. I built Minnow and myself 6.5 50# sticks on clearance blanks I got from Donart.

Thanks for the info on the Accurate /Calstar rods.

I got 2 Accurate rods GF700H casting and GF665ML Hvy Duty spinner off Ebay both brand new for $ 285..

Some how they broke both tips off right at the wrapping.. maybe in a shipping or Celing Fan accident? I bought two new Fuji tips and got them both fixed already. Never been used... What a deal!

I saw those but the pictures were not great and it looked like there was about foot gone from the 700H. What is the length of both rods?

The GF700H conventional is 6'11" and the GF665ML spinner is 6'5" only the tips were broken off clean at the top of the tip wraps... only about 1" lost in lenght.
