Nuevo Vallarta fishing report and Coronairus update. Last month in March the fishing was excellent and we were rolling along just fine. As everyone knows then the Coronavirus showed up everywhere and it put a stop to folks coming down to beautiful Nuevo Vallarta.. This also put a stop to one of the best fishing months we were having here. We were catching a lot of billfish like Marlin sailfish, some good eating mahi-mahi along with the yellowfin tuna. This coming month of April we'll have to see how the coronavirus effects everything here in Mexico for coming months.

Normally during the month of April the waters have warmed up significantly which increases the larger fish moving in. This kind of fishing occurs when we get Clearwater more bait movement and of course the warmer Waters close by. This April you can expect to have a good influx for the offshore fishing in Marlin, sailfish, mahi-mahi, and some big yellowfin tuna. These offshore trips start with a minimum of 8 hours and I can just about guarantee catching a little bit of everything.

The inshore fishing will be off the charts April is one of the better months for our Rooster fish, the red snapper, skipjack tuna and an abundance of other small game right here in the bay. These trips are recommended for the four to six hours. Perfect for families that usually come down in Nuevo Vallarta to enjoy the spring weather.

We will be keeping everyone updated on the fishing and more importantly the coronavirus update here in a Nuevo Vallarta. As the writing this report we are still only been a couple of cases in Nuevo Vallarta and the surrounding areas. Will be praying for everyone here in Mexico and around the world where others have been much more affected.

You can check the website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram where will be posting daily updates. Hope to see everyone out on the water soon, stay safe and following the local guidelines recommended by your government.
