I haven't sat in my blind yet...but I plan on doing that soon as the cooler weather comes in. I will try to pop a couple of those piggies. Should be great eating!

I drooled a lil bit on my desk when I saw those piglets, you should trap them and put them on a smoker at about 250 degrees for 4 hours......
That would about do it..... MMM MMM MMMM I likes piggies...
those bucks are so much fatter than the does.. I guess the rut ought to be getting close down there..... Good luck Richard...

Yeah...the does and young bucks look stressed...had lots of grass this year...can't figure that out. I look at the pics and think I may have a situation in which there are more bucks than does....may have to do a little harvesting. I can't figure out which ones to take out...but I am going to wait until the end of the season to figure out what to do. I do not have a high fence...so as the rut begins, some of these bucks may go traveling away to find some tang.
The rut doesn't start up here in this part of South Texas until about the third week of December...at least that's pretty typical here. I'm curious to see if any of the "monster" bucks come out at that time. I have seen a couple over the last four years, when I first bought the ranch, that were magazine cover material. We'll see how it goes.

Wow Richard, you got some nice deer there (and lots of them). I like that big 10 with the kickers.
We had a whole herd of hogs move in like that on us Sunday night, I know they hit the feeder every night since. I may have tapped out my buck tag but I plan to give the piggies hell. Hopefully the cold front will get them to come out during evening/morning hours.
My brother is coming up for Thanksgiving so we may just have to find out this weekend.
