As some are stated that the action is slow, the commercial fleet keeps on hammering the tuna left and right, they harvested 60 Bluefin tuna yesterday alone, getting closer to meet up their quota. there is not a lot of boat out there fishing recreational so there is a lack of report and yes the fish might not be as aggressive as the way we want it to be but that doesn't mean it is slow, we got 4 bites in less then 20 minutes apart when we located fish and i tell you those are big fish. for sure it is a late season but the fish are there, the lack of report is due to charter boats sitting at the dock, remember the commercial fleet would like to keep it as quite as they could until they are done sitting behind the computer waiting for a miracle is not going to help, stop dreaming and get out and make it happen, why wait to hear it from the others while you can be from the first to report it will be heading down south by Monday. Tight lines Sami
You are so right. It will blow open one day soon and everyone will miss it. With more recreational boats out there they could be found daily, no doubt. I hate that I can't be there this week but please stay in touch. I am always willing to take the chance. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Hatteras Harbor reported it is "on." Getting to be about right. The first time I went down and did this it was the last day of Feb. in Hatteras on the Little Clam. The fish were at the 400 and moved 50' loran clicks north every week like clockwork.
