The DTX 215 is still going through the battery of prototype testing, however Damon says it looks great at up to 14kts so far. Hes anticipating Nov -Dec for release

I personally cannot wait to get some in my hands. I love these lures, especially their fishyness, and am really excited to have a set that can all last more than 4-6 waHoo landed headboat style. Now if I can just get some magical braid that survives tangles and crosses fish, I'd never come ashore!

Is the action affected if you run, say 4 feet of cable from the tow point to a black solid ring? I really don't want to lose my new DTX200, but I don't want to mess up the action either.

it won’t work that way. I tried 275-175 diff lengths single and double crimp . What works the best is #12-14 single strand. Then 100-130 lb mono single small crimp and have to troll it waaaaaay back

Idk what you meant .. the depth comes the more you allow it to get back and sink ... and the thinner line you use .. no trolling weights. I have answered every possible thing now just get out there and fish

I've used about 28"-30" of 175# multistrand, single crimp on both ends, with a solid ring on one end and tied directly to the lure. No issue while trolling about 8 knots. Distance from the boat didn't seem to matter. NO modifications to the lure. This was on a 90' San Diego boat.

Having said that, some lures will not track straight no matter what you use, or do to them.

That’s a pretty significant jump from what the DTX200 sells for

from what I’ve heard the cost increase are as a result of a structural rebuild on the lure to make them last longer and withstand more strikes . Also I believe the hook attachment is stronger too . Don’t quote me on this . Just what I’ve read on other sites where nomad does respond to members .

I’ll end up trying one . It’s still cheaper than a lot of wahoo lures . Cowbell, magbtrak, intruder
