New Saltist Lever Drag

    Anyone have any more info? I wonder if they will have a Saltiga LD reel as well. Looks like it gets a little bit more drag then the star drag version.

    They have single spd and 2 spd. It sucks that the single spds are high gear ratio.

    Wow, looks like they also have a 20T and a 30T as well (for trolling).

    They will be doing Saltigas but not for awhile according to one of the guys over on BD who is promoting this in their FS forum.

    I like the Saltist line, hopefully this one stays true to the original quality. That handle needs some work though. Looks like it's a ball of EVA glued on there :p

    Sweet looking reel. I like the two-tone color scheme.

    The Saltist STTLD40 2-Speed looks to have the drag and line capacity for tuna.

    Just got a reply on f.s. from A guy who works for daiwa and he said they are bringing new spinning reels to the icast show.

    I've seen the 09 Daiwa Catalog. They are bringing the dogfight over.

    It could be economic version of Saltiga spinning reel like shimano's Saragosa.

    The smaller lever drag Saltists look like they've landed early. Charkbait and Melton has them in stock now.
