    DSG,

At this moment I don't have the price for the blank yet, if I know more I'll let you know.

Txseadog and I pulled on the blanks, all of the blank have a moderate/almost parabolic action and it's so lite.

    Hey TJ

Looking good but would prefer a faster action / fast tiped 7ft rod for poppers,

Are you going to sell just the blanks or offer finished rods as well??

    Hey Bazz,

We will have both , finished rod and blanks.
Fast taper rod is going to be hard on the angler, ask Txseadog about it. He build one Calstar 700H spinner.
Our blank will have moderate action yet have enough back bone to fish 65# spectra.
We might bring in fast action 7ft rod if there is enough demand for it.

Production rod won't be ready by end of october. We are building one spinner that we are going to loan out on Cinco trip.

Ok.. I was just worried it would be too whippy for accurate casting with a moderate /slow action. I surely trust TxSeadog's judgement when rod performance is an issure.

If it will hold up to 20# of drag load it will work just fine and not ware you out like the stiff action of the 700H. I've already got the Broom stick action rods covered! :)

I'll check out the OTI Popper / Seadog special on the Cinco trip.

    Thanks for the product Info.

    Minnow,
The rod blank looks like it is handling the 20# weight just fine. Nice even arc. You're almost at 180 degrees, so I don't know if I push it much more. Which blank are you using in the picture?

By the way, nice PINK flip flops. You might think twice about wearing those in public.

The pink flops work when you're in a hurry, right TJ!

Are you sure they weren't Fluffy's toys? LMAO

That's the coolest rabbit (and most interactive rabbit) I've ever been around, NO KIDDING!

If I was you, I'd get Amy to model your new rods. Put her on a boat with her bikini and shot away. That would sell a bunch of rods. We are all suckers when you mix sex with fishing gear.
