He damn sure did, picture doesn't due it justice, i can't say that enough, it was a hoss of a squid fresh out the water

Never seen any squid that big in my area. Sometimes i would get small 1's and the blacks loved them . What we call blacks are gag grouper. Then there is what we call a true black grouper that we get well south of my area like around the keys.

Yes. Just annual stuff, some minor repairs. There’s always some welding to be done every time we go into the yard.
Nothing like dock work and sanding and all that fun stuff. We used to have rebuild our engines every year back when we ran the offshore 11 hour trips everyday. Like the Owner of the boat says, speed cost money and hurts people.

Capt Matt, how does 2/13-14 trip look at the moment. I noticed Monday looks great but the winds are increasing after midnight. I have 5 spots on this trip and hoping to be able to go out. I hope the good weather drifts a little toward Monday-Tuesday. Right now Sun-Mon window looks better.

It’s calling 25-30 knots for Monday night.
