Oh lol that’s why. Those jigs are not rigged for tuna. Most jigs you buy won’t be

Best to make your own assists. It’s super easy if you can tie a uni knot you can make an assist hook

Damn. Those are some of the biggest Bft I have seen caught on these trips. Looked like a good time even without the yellows cooperating
