Has anyone ever been to this particular show in Rhode Island? Its a bit of a drive for me so just wondering if its worth it. It seems to be very offshore/big game oriented.... should probably leave the credit card at home:D

I've always heard people call it the RISSA Show - We are exhibiting this year - if you go stop by and check out the booth!

It is the best fishing show around. But that having been said, attendance (both exhibitors and shoppers) has been off at all the show so far this year.

I've never been to the Someset NJ show, but I can attest that the RISSA Show (that's what we call it too) is a very very good show.

It's all about Saltwater fishing. No spinner baits to look at !!

I went to it last year. Lots of vendors so you can play with a lot of stuff. Not too much in the way of really good deals, but you can find some. It is worthwhile.
