I just found out that the 126.5lb amberjack that I caught tuesday is offically the new state record. I caught it in about 350', sw of the swansboro hole. She went for a 9 oz abyss jig, and was caught on 80lb braid with 100lb leader.

Yes guys I am a little upset we let my fish swim away but we weren't think state records. Mine was longer but a little thinner. I'm happy for him but ...

The world record will fall this year no doubt and I know somone who will be going down there a lot starting next weekend
