I think that you will love the 870 2 speed. I have fished mine three times now and this is the last jigging reel that I will ever want or need.
It handles big Jacks with no problem and is so light that you can jig all day without wearing you out. I just cant wait for some good weather so I can get out to the Tuna grounds to try it out on them.
I will be interested to here which reel you end up liking more for jigging.

how do you like two speed quickshift botton ?
When I checked my first 870 two-speed, the two-speed button didn't work !
I checked second one and the two-speed quickshift bottm worked, but I had to push it real hard. They definitely need some improvement on this part.


Mine works fine but I do think that they could have made it a little heavier duty but I will have faith in Accurate's enginering and hope that it never breaks.
