Finished the last day of 2017 and California bottom fish season on a good note... Fished the avenger out of Morro Bay landing... Capt. made a long 3.5 hr run up north... Nice conditions and better fishing... Jigged up easy limits of 8 vermillion rock fish, 2 chuckle heads and a ling... Gear used, evergreen poseidon long fall paired with a gold trini 16N and slow jerker paired with a ocea jigger 2000NRHG. Both laoded with 30lb daiwa saltiga boat braid and 40 leader... Fished various jigs in the 200/260 gram jigs... Current was decent.... Depths fished, 200-240... 240 is the deepest we can fish on the central coast..

    Nice!

Daiwa has a 30lb boat braid? I thought 40lb was their smallest?
