20000 is on market from last week j &h tackle had few I bought 30000 should be on my door next week

I should have it next week jandh told me reels had been shipped to them two days ago and as soon they get going to send to me. Yes I going put quiet few pictures and how its crank, one on icast last year feels like broken VS. Okuma claim they improve gearing a lot so now is like day and night what was on prototype. I bought just for one reason 67 in per crank and oil seal like VS going replace my 30000 Stella for big tarpons and sharks

Ok my first impression
Mechanical 8.5-9.5/10
Cosmetic 7/10
Drag 10/10
Overall 8.5/10
Crank tight but smooth, very solid reel few cosmetic imperfection but I can live with (for example my first 30000 Stella never left closet till I sold it, and it was garbage)
Drag I know going to love for sharkfishing that I'm 100% positive I fell in love in lever drag kind of drag because with my big Stella's or saltiga I have to tighten down for 30 sekunds one's I reached from zero drag to 30 lbs, here in makaira takes one click less than blinked of eye, if reel is really water proof in 70% as my VS 275 I would love it.Going test next couple weeks and let u know guys.
One minus rotor ballance when u crank is wobbling but I wait for line and check during fight, because my 20000 Stella with yumeya bailless kit had same problem after spooling with line and under pressure I can't feel it

On pictures you can compare to 14 k Stella and 30000 and just for fun next to 4000 fi

Its definitely offshore reel but can be use on surf I going personally use as shark reel since 30 k Stella doesn't has enough drag. 20000 would be great tuna reel as well 30000 when fish busting bait on top. Weight I'll weight tomorrow and let u know. Because high gear ratio I would not use for jigging

After few fishes landed (not monsters unfortunately) I can tell little more: drag works like champ, I love drag preset future, super fast reel perfect for fishing for fast pelagic in fast current, very easy reel to maintenance and fund out after I put my own mixture of grease, gears feeling almost disappear, going fishing tomorrow all day long hopefully land same size fish after I decided my 30000 Stella isn't enough. I thinking about to sell my 30K Stella and buy makaira 20000, guys do you have experience with okuma service?

I had great experience with Okuma service. They will take care of you. I sent them a 10 year old reel to get a handle installed. New handle, new gears, new bearings and a new spool. Cost was $0.00

On 20k landed few bft 150-250 a lot black tip on 30 k quiet few tarpons countless sharks 100-500 rang I have reels way below 20 and 30 serial so very first 30k went bad after second 200ish fish but okuma fixed and upgraded bail since than no problem at all I used Stella's before for years but I switched to mk and never looked back build like tank waterproof not afraid of sand on beach if okuma introduce 5-6k size I would buy it instantly. Reel is like vs and stella mix,not smooth as shimano or daiwa but I loved conventional like drag settings one click and you can go from 0 to 20-30 and up drag great reels period
