Kaoha Nui,

Very short fishing session early this morning.
YFT were the main targets to help a good friend to satisfy orders from villagers.
While my friend was fishing traditionally with dead bait, I had some "fun" with jigging.
Decent sized doggies were there.

Like always X12 rod done the job too easily. I've expected a minimum of pain…Not fun.
Can't wait to finally win a fight with such doggies with land based fishing…

Kaoha Nui Oilpatch,

It's a JRC custom spool (Jack Reel Custom). Jack is a french artisan.
Don't know the price of Maxel spool, but for me, JRC has a very good quality/price ratio.
A little bit heavy but not a problem on the water.
Drag is good, cliker very nice and they seem build simple but like tanks.
Could be an good option.

Good fishing !

I want one of those yellow gizmos you have on the rod butt, that is awesome.
How much did that big one weigh, looks like a brute.

I am thinking about getting one too to at least try it out.
