Seems to be a lot of discussion about using mono that tests way above its stated strength. My understanding is that mono is extruded at different diameters to produce different line strengths. So if I extrude 100# and call it 60# then my 60# is stronger than your 60# but also larger. Is this correct? The only thing that can change this is the formula for the mono. I want some 100# mono that has the diameter of 25#. Isn't that called spectra?
