My wife and I decided to get our lifetime license today and the lady with the state said that the price will be going up to $1000.00 or more this year. We got ours for Ok. this year and they were half the price for out of state as the resident Texas.
I'd get one but don't expect to live long enough to make it pay. Jerry I thought you was moving to bama? d-a
Jerry When will you be there? d-a As soon as we dispose of this island property. It's only a long days drive for me now.

I got my lifetime huntin and fishing license in 1981 for $225 dollars in Ok. We just got our out of state OK. fishing for $275.00
As soon as we dispose of this island property. It's only a long days drive for me now. What you trying to dispose of Jerry?
Jerry's lot in Rockport is a GREAT spot, you could be fishing Copano 2 minutes after getting in your boat.. my mother and step dad were thinking about buying a canal lot to build a weekend/retirement home on, unfortunately the areas they wanted were taxed a little too much for their budget
Alabama requires a salt and fresh water fishing license. Unless you are over 65... then you don't need one... The lifetime hunting and fishing fresh and salt water if you are under 50 is $1050 Over 50 it is $700 They do not offer a non-resident lifetime license of any sort. I maintain a non-resident fishing license for freshwater year round in Alabama. I buy a trip license for saltwater whenever we are fishing saltwater and not covered by a guide license... I refuse to hunt in Alabama because of their high priced non-resident licensing. The sad part is that we own land and pay property taxes in the state....
snagged, send me info on your house.... I have been looking down there for something...... alot of the ones i have seen are either overkill or too expensive......
