This was a shot of the stock Daiwa handle. I had a little trouble, because I initially didn't see the top bearing down in the handle.

This was the layout I used for the new handle.

The shaft greased and installed. I've got a little dab of grease on the threads and now ready for the handle. Some may recommend oil, but I like grease.

The finished product

Is the JM handle the one for Daiwas or did you use the Accurate ones? I was thinking about getting the same for my Saltiga 30T. Top bearing is inside the stock handle? So remove that and move to JM install?

The handle is universal, you just need to specify what shaft you need. When you take off the stock handle there are two thin washers, then the bearing. Take something and poke it up through the handle and the second bearing will pop out the top as shown in the first sequence. The JM shaft comes with another thin washer that I used on top. Its the brass colored one.

Hmmm, upgrade for 300 torque, I had not thought of that.
Now that you have sugested this. I will want to know more.
The JM Handle dealer I used for Saltiga Z6000 provided correct
kit that included, shall I say "mini washer". I have not made the
install yet. But the, Handle is universal for many reels with the correct
assy's.
