Here are some detail pictures for Bunile. The knob that Accurate supplies is cast aluminum. That's why it is always a different color than the reels. They machine a stainless steel shaft and use bearings. Someone started a thread called "El Chingon". Chingon meaning badass. That's what I have named this knob. I have about 13 reels that need this knob. I have two friends that have seen the prototype and like it. They need about 58 between the two of them. Seems like I'm not the only guy with big hands.

Looks more like a Saltiga 05!!!!!:)

I'm on my fourth guy to make my handles. It's been a nightmare. One guy screwed up 16 handles. He made them 3/4" to short. Knuckles hit all over the place. Another guy told me he was robbed. I left him 6 feet of aluminum billet 2 3/4" diameter. What a crook. I have him half down and will probably sue the bum to get my money back.

I could have bought a new truck for what I've have in these knobs by the time I'm finished. Those little Accurate knobs really suck. I was spooling three reels last night. My right hand feels like drove a golf ball into it with a #1 driver.

MrBill,
I have the same problem. I have used (Power) handles on most of my reels.

They're great handles. I used them on all my Penns. Tom Testa said they've not had much call for handles for the Accurate Boss 2-speeds, but he said if some one wanting one would send it in, he could mount one of his handles on the crank arm in a day. It'd be fair to give him a call first (1.800.REELCOLORS) and a a few more days. But the handles are great.

I just had the new Jigging Master Handle shipped in from Singapore

How long is that new power handle?

I like the look of that black 665. I gather it's topped off with white JB line.
Nice looking. I like the contrast. Did you get it from Meltons? I'm a little upset with them right now. I've had an order on hold since Oct 31st. One excuse after another.

I was surprised the other day when I spooled a 665. I had a Torsa 30 that was spooled with 80# and a Winton leader of 25 feet, 80 pound test. The line was brand new. I took it off the torsa 30 and put it on the 665. It fit like a glove. Those two reels are within 1% line capacity of each other.

Then I took the spectra off another torsa 30 to put on a 665W. I knew it had a larger capacity, so I took a guess and put 75 yards more of 80# spectra then tied a knot, and topped it off with the line from the torsa 30. I was way short. That 665W holds at least 25% more line then the 665. I had to start all over with a new spool. That little mess took me over 2 hours of cranking that little golf ball that Accurate gives you. That really sucked.

Not much longer before I get my new Chingon handles.:) Hopefully this guy I found yesterday has it together.

The power handle is approximately 4 inches, I love the black look as well and teh reel feels completely different. I gues its powder coated??. You are right on both accounts it has over 400 yards of JB hollow, a 25' windon and alot of room left, no where near the brim. I could have put another 50/75 yards of JB no problem. I purchased it from Meltons, they had it in stock and it shipped out the same day. Ive been lucky with them lately

I have oficially found a way to solve your problem, if this isnt a Manly jigging reel handly to fit the hands of a "Big Ole Boy", I dont know what to tell you.

obviously the handle part would be removed, I am still trying to figure out how to modify this one for my EXW 4/02

ps. I thought about taking those pics of my desk w/ a Porno playing on my computer, but I didnt know if it would fly on this forum.

It took me three months to get what I needed. I finally have a knob that feels good. I hope I don't start shattering gears. I feel like I could winch in a tanker anchor with these knobs. I see many snapped rods in my future. I named these handles "Chingon". (The baddest of the bad) or (badass). They were turned out of a solid billet aluminum rod. The knobs are 5 1/2 ounces. If they were 5 pounds I'd still be happy. Comfort is more important to me than weight. I can now sleep at night. The quest is over. (except I need a bunch more to fit other brands of reels,)
