Hey guys,
Was wondering if anybody had any feedback on the PE II VS. PE3. Is there any difference in the reels besides the handle and smaller reel?

Hi Alex,
PE2 has a control knob for cast control, and the PE3 does not.
PE2 has 5.3:1 ratio, PE3 has 4.5:1
PE2 has a max drag of 45lbs, PE3 has 50lbs.
PE2 holds 320m of PE3 line or 400m of PE2, PE3 holds 400m of PE3 line.
PE2 has a ball knob and the PE3 has the classic JM T-Bar

Shopping for a reel for that new rod I see. I have the new saltiga 15 I want to put on it.

I was comparing a few numbers before I got mine and Benny is one of the guys on here that you should ask. He got so many of them.... It's not even funny. If you are looking at Lefty, (if I remember correctly) the PE2 have 5" per crank more than PE3, where Righty is not that much maybe like 2" per crank. ....*at least when the spool is full*...
