I am ready to start to put Jerry brown hollow core on all of my new jigging set ups. What is the opinion of the board on using it a s backing with a jig man pe line marked top shot, the new diawa line marked top shot or just using the jb straight with my own markings? Most of my jigging in nj will be in 100 to 200 ft of water for tuna.

I would go with JB backing and top it off with JigMan multi color PE line. JMO

I love JB hollow core for my big sticks (tuna and shark) where I use 130 spliced into a 100# topshot but with jigging I just use straight PE8. I actually just spooled my torsa 30 for a trip to the gulf with PE8 becuase my new reel i ordered isnt in yet (665 2 speed)

Still waiting on my 665 also. I'm going to string it with pe8 and match it with a tuna max. It will be for deep jigging with heavy jigs and hard pulling. Can't wait.
