    Mississippi seeing big coronavirus outbreak
    in State Legislature

Packed elevators and crowded committee rooms. Legislators sitting shoulder-to-shoulder on the House and Senate floors. People standing close to each other and talking, sometimes leaning in to whisper, without a mask in sight.

Those were common scenes at the Mississippi Capitol in June — a month that saw a
historic vote to remove the Confederate battle emblem from the state flag — and now at least 26 lawmakers have contracted the coronavirus in the biggest known outbreak in any state legislature in the nation.

That works out to about 1 in 7 Mississippi legislators testing positive in the heavily Republican body.

Has anybody detected a trend yet? :)

    Florida emerges as
    world's new epicenter for COVID-19

Florida has emerged as a global epicenter of the latest coronavirus surge, raising questions about the safety of major events that relocated to the state.

As coronavirus cases surged throughout much of the Northeast in April and May, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) declared victory.

Florida was one of the last states to impose a stay-at-home order, and one of the first to reopen.
DeSantis earned praise from President Trump for his response to the pandemic and attacked the media for fearmongering after the state reopened its beaches.

    Florida sets one-day
    NATIONAL RECORD for new cases

Florida on Sunday reported a one-day record for new COVID-19 cases in any state.

Another 15,299 Floridians tested positive Saturday,
for a total of 269,811 cases in a state that has pledged to open
all schools to in-classroom learning next month.
California set the previous record of 11,694, four days ago.
New York had 11,571 on April 15.

PS> Saturday saw the opening of Disney Parks in Florida.
Trump also celebrated Florida being #1 with his 275th round of golf
    at his club in Florida.

Florida seems to be determined to be #1 going forward.
Expect some killer deals on retirement real estate next year.

    Worse Than New York’:
How Coronavirus Exploded in South Carolina

South Carolina is besieged by the coronavirus, reporting more cases per capita than most countries. “We’ve completely lost control of the situation”

All told, more than 75 percent of hospital beds are already occupied across the Palmetto State—and the tidal wave of new coronavirus cases is only growing.

Simply put, South Carolina hospitals are under siege.

“We’re going to be worse than New York.
But at least in New York, people took the virus seriously.
Here, we’re in a war zone that people refuse to accept.”

One of the earliest states to loosen coronavirus restrictions amid the pandemic, South Carolina is now struggling to address its brewing COVID-19 crisis. But while the growth rate of infected residents has exploded over the last week—making the state one of the newest hot spots for the deadly disease—many residents continue to ignore the problem

To date about 961 people have died and 57,108 others have been infected with the virus in South Carolina—with roughly one in five tests returning a positive result. Overnight, the state experienced a 20 percent increase in the number of new cases, with about 2280 positive tests

Last week, thousands of boaters gathered at Lake Murray to declare their support for President Trump, while organizers of a motorcycle event in Myrtle Beach next week say they have no intention of modifying or canceling the annual tradition.

“Who is staying home? If you look at the roads here, nobody is staying home,” Sonny Copeland, the founder of Myrtle Beach Bike Week, which typically attracts thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts “Here in South Carolina, we’ve been acting normal since Day 1. We live in real life—this ain’t something politicians want us to do though.”

Anthony Alberg, an epidemiologist at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, he’s not surprised the state has failed to contain the pandemic—as its reopening occurred far too soon.
“Early on, South Carolina took the essential steps needed to flatten the curve,” Alberg said. “The problem has been reopening too soon, which has led to a very large upsurge in COVID-19 cases that cannot be accounted for solely due to the increased testing for active SARS-CoV-2 infections.”

South Carolina’s current surge of cases is so bad that it’s now one of the top three worst coronavirus outbreaks in the world. The number of daily infections between June 28 and July 5,
Arizona and Florida are the two most impacted areas in the world
    —followed by South Carolina,
    the kingdom of Bahrain,
    and Louisiana.

    PS> Education Rankings:
    Florida #32
    South Carolina #42
    Arizona #45
    Louisiana #51 (worst in America)

    Ohio Man Dies Of COVID-19
    After Saying Masks Were Hype

Richard Rose, 37, posted that he wasn't going to buy "a f—king mask,"
and laughed about going to a water park in mid-June.
A few weeks later he was dead.

An Ohio man is serving as a cautionary tale after posting on Facebook that he refused to wear a mask — and subsequently dying of COVID-19.

Back in April, Richard Rose of Port Clinton, Ohio, made his thoughts on masks known:

“Let[’s] make this clear,” he wrote. “I’m not buying a f—king mask.
I’ve made it this far by not buying into that damn hype.”

Two months later, he posted a photo of a semi-crowded pool party he attended, captioned “It’s not that packed lol.”

Within another two weeks, Rose shared that he was awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, which ultimately came back positive. He shared in a comment that he believed the pool party was where he contracted the novel coronavirus, though his Facebook suggested he was also spending time at bars and other similarly crowded locations.

Either way, by July 4, Rose was dead.

30-year-old patient dies in San Antonio
Texas hospital after attending 'COVID Party'

‘I Thought This Was A Hoax’:
    30-Year-Old’s Regret On Deathbed
Was Going To COVID Party, Doctor Says

A 30-year-old patient died after attending what's being called a "COVID Party," said Methodist Hospital Chief Medical Officer Dr. Jane Appleby.

"This is a party held by someone diagnosed with the COVID virus, and the thought is that people get together to see if the virus is real if anyone gets infected," Appleby said.

"Just before the patient died, they looked at their nurse and said, 'I think I made a mistake. I thought this was a hoax, but it's not,'" Appleby said.

Appleby said several of their critically ill coronavirus patients are in their twenties and thirties. It's a growing trend seen across San Antonio.

During Friday night's briefing, Mayor Ron Nirenberg said young adults made up 25% of positive cases in Bexar County.

"We're in a period of very high community transmission," Nirenberg said. "If you're having a party with people who aren't part of your social circle in your household, it has the potential to be a COVID party whether you like it or not."

Appleby said she's not trying to be an alarmist. She hopes this patient's case helps people realize the severity of what's going on around them.

Arizona, Texas Officials Order Morgue Trucks In Latest Sign Of Rising COVID-19 Rates
White House officials told Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego
    that everything is under control
and that she’s being too demanding, she said.
Phoenix and some Texas counties are ordering morgue trucks, as the number of COVID-19 cases in the states move into the next chilling phase: an overwhelming death toll.
Gallego said Phoenix is the “largest city in the country that has not yet received federal surge testing” help, even though she has been requesting it “for months.” The Trump administration told Gallego to send residents to Walgreens for testing, triggering long lines in crushing Arizona heat for the few available tests at the stores.

PS> I have an idea how to solve this problem.
We only need to follow the advise of a genius.
If you guys did half the testing you do now,
only half the number of people would die,
and the morgues wouldn't fill up,
and you wouldn't need the reefer trucks.
Its a simple problem to solve.
So just stop testing so much, good luck.

"Think of this, if we didn't do testing,
if we did half the testing we would have half the cases
If we did another, you cut that in half,
we would have, yet again, half of that."

Okay let's say this one more time without any fuckin politics in it.

Covid 19 is real!!! Stay safe and protect yourself, your family, your friends and everyone at all times. My EDC is a LOT heavier than my face mask. Please wear one! And maintain social distancing.

P.S. I got unknowingly exposed to covid 19 patients multiple times. Thank God I was so hard headed and was wearing my surgical mask even before CDC added it to their guidelines. It saved my ass. To date, I had been tested 4x and it's all negative.

    Duh, we know its real.
Problem is, like Chuck Woolery said,
the CDC, doctors and others are lying to us.
It is NOT AS DANGEROUS as many claim.

“Now we have tested over 40 million people.
But by so doing, we show cases,

99% of which are totally harmless.

Oz is in the grip of a second wave.............stronger than the first.............a few mindless ijits, unable to maintain sensible social controls are causing havoc.........massive effort in contact tracing is struggling to keep up. Localised area isolation is biting hard as the only available response to minimise economic impact.
If you keep thinking ( or brainwashed) that its a conspiracy & not commonsense.........whats happening in Oz is what you get.

The good news is that one CV-19 treatment has reached 3rd stage human trials looking very good & 1 potential vaccine is undergoing early human trials too.

Just like we saw some countries hoarding PPE supplies .......there are governments ordering hoarding supplies of potential treatments & vaccines before they have even completed trials to prove their effectiveness & potential side-effects.

The corona virus is a cold virus, although COVID-19 is a very nasty strain. How do you stop a cold? It’s going to spread regardless and the best way to not catch it is to wear a mask and wash your hands, especially before touching your face. Everyone has got to be responsible for themselves without relying on govt to fix the problem for you.

if you still believe this virus is a hoax or masks don’t matter come spend a day in the ER with me. People coming in with normal labs, clear chest X-rays, yet their oxygen levels are 87-92% (normal is 95-100%). Yep, they test positive for COVID-19 and have to be admitted to be placed on oxygen to keep them in the normal range. And these are just mild cases. Most who get admitted as serious cases are done so on days 7-10 with this disease as it progresses. If you get the flu, you are looking at 3-5 days of symptoms on average. With COVID-19 you’re looking at two weeks!

We also can’t keep the economy shut down over this. People have got to get back to work. The answer, be responsible!

Europe travel ban came too late
to stop New York outbreak, CDC data confirms

The coronavirus had already spread from Europe to New York City by the time the Trump administration enacted a ban on travel from Europe, a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms.

The Trump administration banned entry to the United States from 26 European countries on March 13. By March 15, the CDC reported, community transmission of the coronavirus was already widespread in New York.

"Although travel restrictions are an important mitigation strategy, by the time the European restrictions were implemented, importation and community transmission of (the coronavirus) had already occurred (in New York)," according to the CDC's Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report, published on Friday.

New York's Department of Health and Mental Hygiene collected nasal swabs from patients at six hospitals during the first three weeks of March. A CDC analysis found that the samples that tested positive for COVID-19 resembled matched strains of the disease in Europe.

The CDC report also noted that five of those hospitals were selected because they were in areas with a high percentage of Chinese speakers to determine whether the strain they were seeing in New York might have come from Wuhan, China, where the virus was first discovered.

Instead, the CDC found that none of the samples from those hospitals matched the Wuhan strain, an outcome the administration sought to prevent by banning travel from China on Feb. 2.

Many stock investors look for correlation between
certain data points, to indicate an opportunity to invest.
When A happens, then X will happen next.
It is very rare to find a correlation that is 100%.

States w/ highest Positivity rate COVID-19 (7-day avg)
    1) Arizona: 22.6%
    2) Florida: 18.1%
    3) Texas: 17.9%

    4) Nevada: 17.8%
    5) Alabama: 17.7%
    6) South Carolina: 17.5%
    7) Idaho: 16.7%
    8) Georgia: 15.7%
    9) Mississippi: 15.1%
    10) Arkansas: 11.8%

NYC currently has a positivity rate of 1%
Meaning 1 out of 100 tests comes back positive for C-19
18% means 18 out of 100 come back positive.
5% or less is where you want to be,
10% or more and you're in real trouble.

All the states in Red, are states that voted
    for the president.

Nevada, voted for crooked Hillary, which made
me wonder, how did this happen, why was Nevada
ruining the potential 100% correlation we have been seeing
    with this group. :)

So, I looked up the Governor of Nevada,
Steve Sisolak, democrat, born Milwaukee Wisconsin,
    graduated University of Wisconsin.
Educationally, Wisconsin is ranked #44 in the country.

100% correlation holding true so far

Hundreds of anti-mask protesters protected by armed militia and bikers
gather at the Ohio statehouse saying face coverings are 'propaganda'
and holding 'I will not wear someone else's fear' signs.

Armed anti-mask protesters gathered outside the Ohio statehouse on Saturday for a 'civil disobedience rally' guarded by militia.

Ohio does not yet have a statewide mandate on wearing masks but several groups converged Saturday afternoon to push back on the requirements already introduced in several counties.

The anti-mask protest was advertised as an open-carry event where 'security' would be provided by 'militia, military veterans, bikers and patriot groups'.
The group also spoke out against coronavirus shutdowns and in favor of the police.
Several of the protesters were seen waving Trump 2020 signs as they brandished firearms.

'I will not wear someone else's fear' signs read,
as others called for schools to be reopened.

'Let out people go. We don't need masks.
We don't need our businesses shut down,' one protester said. 'We are free.'

Some claimed that the doctors who are encouraging masks to be worn are wrong and alleged that coronavirus cases numbers and deaths are being manipulated.

'It's not connecting to the science. It's propaganda,' said Cherrelyn Pierson.

'I trust myself. I am the science,' she added,
claiming that the risks of respiratory and
airborne transmission of coronavirus are being overstated.

PS> in 2006, Ohio was ranked #6 in
in 2008 and 2012 they voted for Obama.
