You are right Kim! I don’t travel with jigs set up. I take off jigs from split ring when traveling and just wanted a place to hold top hooks down. I don’t like hooking to the guide or reel. Benny

I know you are a wrapper, but I installed zip ties and a solid split ring on my rod under my upper hand. 1- it’s out of the way of casting, You can lose your lure when line hits that. 2) the lure hits the foam instead of the blank if you drive so won’t break it 3)zip ties have cool colors so people using your gear know where to hook it
