How to "SPIN" it.

Judy Wallman, a professional genealogical researcher, discovered that Hillary Clinton's great-great uncle, Remus Rodham, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows. On the back of the picture is this inscription: "Remus Rodham; horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted and hanged in 1889.

Judy e-mailed Hillary Clinton for comments. Hillary's staff of professional image adjusters sent back the following biographical sketch:

"Remus Rodham was a famous cowboy in the Montana Territory. His business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian assets and intimate dealings with the Montana railroad. Beginning in 1883, he devoted several years of his life to service at a government facility, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad. In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honor when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed."

And THAT is how it's done folks!*

The stock he stole were no doubt lucky they were stolen by Hillary's ancestor instead of Bill's. William Jefferson Clinton would have probably screwed the horses and convinced the Jury that stock diddling does not really constitute "sex" and then told Barbara Walters he did it "because I could."

Not to get on a political bandwagon, but don't ever let anyone tell you Wild Bill got in trouble because he "...lied about sex." What he did was much more serious--he lied under oath--never mind about what, and that amounts to the felony called purgery. Moreover, he committed a gross violation of the sexual harrassment laws promulgated by Congress. Sexual harrassment does not mean you pursue someone who is unwilling. It applies to the entire workplace and charges can be brought by anyone who works for the executive in question and is potentially compromised by the preference he might show to the "favored" employee whom he was schtooping. In this case, Monica was a Federal Employee and the so-called "man from Hope" was the supervisor of every one of that class. He got away with an act which any low, middle or senior Federal manager would have lost his job over--especially under a liberal Democrat like old Billy Bob.

Yet where were the women's groups when he was attempting to use their sisters for his own pathetic, whining inadequate acts of substitute sex. Well, the truth is, they were defending him in the most hypocritical manner possible.

And where was Hillary? You guessed it. Waiting her turn--not at Bill, mind you, because by that time, I suspect she could have cared less about getting it on with Bill--but rather her turn to do to the American People what her husband was doing to Monica with his 25-cent cigar. I hope to God Borak Obama beats her butt ragged in Iowa and then in New Hampshire and South Carolina. Some pundits are saying she will come in third in Iowa.

Sorry about the soap box, but you can't make this stuff up, folks.

I can't figure out whether Borak is an anti-feminist for not supporting Hillary or maybe Hillary is a racist for not rallying to Borak's support. Personally, I would be overjoyed to vote for either a woman or a black for President--just as long as her name was Condoleezza Rice. :)

You know, Snagged, and SpecialK, I probably wouldn't vote for her, but since I think the Dems are really, really close to a sure thing, I would probably prefer her to any of the others. I have been a Democrat all my life, and I still side with them on about 30-40 percent of issues. However, since September 11, 2001, I have become a one-issue voter. And I argue that, whether the Iraqi war was the best move or not, and even though I cannot prove it, I think it has kept our enemies busy over there as opposed to here. And when I think of whom I would really hate to have pissed off at me if I attacked them, Hillary kind of stands out. If she were to treat Osama Bin Laden half as badly as she does her enemies in Washington, then God help him.

Seriously, in my humble (and I have been told, borderline paranoid) opinion, we are at war--not just with a few extremists, but with a very large portion of the world's population. So whoever is elected, I will make him or her my president, just as I would have hoped the Democrats would have embraced President Bush, and give her or him the benefit of the doubt.

We are all in this together.
