I like the owner super mutu 6/0 circle. They are offset. Also if you like to hide the hook in the butterfish i find this hook hard to hide in the 6/0 size.
Exacrly! The super mutu hooks are great! Their only drawback is the heavy gauge and offset for the frozen and thawed soft butterfish. I would have to pick through the flat and find the larger baits so I can hide the hook. I liked it when the point of the offset was barely sticking out of the butterfish belly.

Have you looked into the Demon Perfect circle. I have heard good things about them but have no experince using them myself. They appear to have a smaller guage than the owner super mutu.
No I haven’t! I have too many super mutu hooks to use up before I start trying anything else. There is also a mutu light, but I just never tried them.

I really like a ringed hook for chunking, Ringed Super Mutu in 6/o.
Haha! Do you think we over bought.
Haven’t had a reason to purchase from ringedhooks.con since my last order years ago. But, if and when I run out of my super mutu I will definitely restock with them again. This place does excellent work with a quick turnaround.

The Mutu Light is a nice hook depending on the purpose. I use the Mutu Light Tournament version (more or less an inline hook) for surf, jetty and inshore fishing where they work well. The smaller sizes do bend easily though and I've had larger slot redfish straighten them out entirely in the surf.
Good to know! Thanks for the info.
